Although I cannot attend CES 2015, for so many reasons to mention, I am very interested in the tech coming out of the CES 2015 event!
Here is a list of my favorite pieces of tech announced on the first day of CES International 2015.
LG G Flex 2- LG
First off we have the LG G Flex 2 by LG, of course. The phone has received a lot of praise and has been deemed by many other blogger in the tech community as the first great curved smartphone.
The LG G Flex 2 has a smaller, more manageable screen to compliment the subtle curve which is powered by the latest in processor technology with the all-new Snapdragon 810 processor. LG also included a 1080p screen after many couldn’t believe that the previous generation only had a 720p display.
SmartEyeglass – Sony
Sony’s SmartEyeglass is the first real competition for Google’s most controversial wearable technology Google Glass. Many great things about the SmartEyeglass including navigation for runners allowing directions and mapping information while running in cities. Not entirely sure of the wide-spread use of this feature but I’m sure when and if this becomes available others will find plenty of uses for the new wearable technology.
Sling TV- Dish
Lastly, and one of the most exciting thing for all of you cord cutters was sling TV. The Sling TV service works much like the Ruko and other streaming devices that allows you to select channels or “apps” to watch their content. Some of the channels included in Sling TV’s initial lineup include ESPN, ESPN 2, TNT, TBS, Food Network Channel, Adult Swim and many other great options all for $20 a month.
It seems as though Dish is seeing clearly when it comes to the future of entertainment and the role cable and satellite providers are starting to play in it. This service combined with an Amazon Fire Stick or Amazon Fire TV unit, as well as other compatible devices, seems to cover much of what any television lover would need to enjoy their favorite shows and movies.
Those were my favorites from the first day at CES 2015. Even though I can’t be there it is always exciting to read about the latest and greatest in technology!
Let me know what you liked about the first day at CES International 2015. What would like to see most coming out of the tech world?
